Conversation with Tola Ositelu (The Afropean)

As part of a Master’s seminar on “African diaspora studies and Afroeuropean literatures” at the University of Bremen, we had the opportunity to speak with Tola Ositelu, editor of the online magazine “The Afropean” (https://afropean.com/). She informed us of the magazine’s origins and objectives, the issues it covers, and its target audience. We also discussed the opportunities that the internet offers Afrodescendant communities in making their perspectives visible as well as the challenges of writing and publishing in the digital space.
